Description: 
Prof. Dr. SHAN Xiaoguang, Dean of Tongji Law School and Executive Director of Tongji Global Intellectual Property Institute (TGIPI), Earned Bachelor Degree of Engineering in Physical Geography in 1982 and master degree in Philosophy in 1988 at Central South University. He studied as Ph.D candidate in Max Planck Institute for Intellectual Property, Competition and Tax Law in Munich and in the Institute of Law of Bundeswehr University Munich, Germany (sponsored by the scholarship from Friedrich-Erbert Foundation and Industry Property and Copyright Association Foundation of Germany), received Doctor rerum politicarum (Economics and Social Science) on May 2, 2000.
Prof. Dr. SHAN was vice director of Tongji Intellectual Property Institute and vice dean of Law and Politics School, Tongji University before he was appointed as Dean of Tongji Law School.

Areas of Interest:
Technology Transfer, Patent Law, International Protection of IPR, Protection of IPR and Antitrust law.
