Alumni Activities
The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) has not only provided scholarships for the students, but has also supported the organisation of alumni meetings.
The first alumni meeting, which took place at Wartin Castle (Brandenburg) from 13 to 15 October 2017, was attended by 35 students from Germany and China as well as the professors Xujun Gao and Reinhard Singer. A day trip led the participants to Szczecin in the traces of German-Polish history. The programme was rounded off with several presentations on selected topics of German and Chinese law. Some students reported on their experiences in Shanghai or Berlin and how the Master's programme has influenced their lives.

The second alumni meeting for double master's students took place on 20/21 October 2018 in Schwanenwerder am Wannsee. Here, too, students gave presentations and shared their experiences. The last meeting took place on 30 September 2022 in the rooms of the Faculty of Law at Humboldt University.
On the initiative of Maximilian Schwärecke, an alumni association was founded with the aim of supporting students with advice and assistance. During their stay abroad in Berlin, Chinese students in particular are supported by graduates of the Master's programme in following up lectures and preparing for examinations.
